As a new mom, it's only to be expected that I own more hand sanitizer than the local Walmart and Bath and Body Works put together, right?! Check! I mean come on, when the nurse told me that I needed to take all of the stuff out of my hospital room when Kylee was born, I EVEN took the huge bottle of hand sanitizer we were using during our stay. Like I needed it, considering we'd purchased all but a 5 gallon drum of hand sanitizer when my hubby and I ended up with the Flu during my pregnancy.

It sat on my counter for a few days before I finally decided to dive right in. I was so delighted at the feel of Prefense! I didn't have that gel rolling around in my hands and having to work it into my skin, only to have that dried out feeling afterward. This was amazing! It almost felt like water and dried quickly. I also love that it doesn't have such a harsh smell like all other traditional hand sanitizers. My husband loved that it has such a light smell that doesn't linger. Because it is a foam, my daughter loves it. It's easy for her to rub her hands together and not end up with it all over her and all other creation.

Because we hear about so many germs out there in the world, of course we want to protect ourselves and our families against anything we can. I'd like to say that I try to keep up with the latest when it comes to health warnings in the news. I vaguely remember an episode on The Doctors, where they talked about how it's actually NOT advisable to keep reusing alcohol based hand sanitizers. They discussed how it dries out your hands, and leaves you vulnerable to germs. I love that Prefense leaves me with a protective barrier so that I can apply once, and forget about it! After all, I want to be protected against Staph, Strep, E. Coli, drug resistant MRSA, and others but not worry about if I'm overdoing it or not have enough protection.
