Rent A Grandma

***Contribution by Terrance Kirby***

I was watching DIREC4U for you this morning and my favorite morning talk show, “Today”, showed a really funny new business concept on television and discussed it. It is called “Rent a Grandma”. Basically, it was a company create to satisfy parent’s needs for trustworthy and careful babysitters. I really think that it is probably a good idea. I am not a parent, but I know that if I were I would probably be a train wreck if I left my young baby with a fifteen year old baby sitter. I remember being a babysitter. I was always really responsible and a good sitter, but when it came to really young babies, I didn’t really know what I was doing. I had even taken a babysitting class or two. I would probably be much more comfortable with leaving my child with a certified, back ground checked grandmother too. Also, the name is really catchy. I think that the business is a great idea and will definitely fill a niche. If I ever have a baby, I will probably be calling “Rent a Grandma” too.
